SARATOGA — The Wyoming Workforce Development Council (WWDC) will hold its quarterly meeting Wednesday, Sept. 2, and Thursday, Sept. 3, at the Platte Valley Community Center, 210 W. Elm Ave. in Saratoga. A virtual option will also be available both days.

The meeting begins at 1 p.m. Sept. 2 and reconvenes at 8:30 a.m. Sept. 3.

The WWDC brings together business, education and community leaders from across the state to help strengthen Wyoming’s workforce. During the September meeting, council members will discuss workforce initiatives, funding priorities and opportunities to better support Wyoming workers and employers.

Meeting highlights include:

  • Tourism & Talent: Building Wyoming’s Workforce Future
  • DWS Business Training and Support Unit Information
  • 2026 Wyoming Workforce Annual Report

Council members will also hear updates from Wyoming Department of Workforce Services leadership and discuss efforts underway across the state, including ways to support local economies, strengthen Wyoming’s talent pipeline and help young people build careers close to home.

The meeting is open to the public.
